Vintage 1970s Andre Laug For Audrey Silk Chiffon Dot Print Empire Evening Dress
About the Item
This incredible vintage early 1970's André Laug silk chiffon dress is in a pleated multi layered, tiered sheer pale grey silk chiffon with abstract pink and green dots. The bodice has an empire bust and there is a silk flower attached to one of the shoulders. We especially love the unexpected opening in the back! There are two printed layers of silk chiffon over a solid layer of grey silk. The label is the André Laug for Audrey S.R.L. Roma label. Andre Laug started this label in 1969 and it was in honor of Audrey Hepburn. Hepburn worn many Andre Laug pieces and was often photographed in his designs.
