1960s Tilly Gerland Gold Jacket with Frog Fastenings
About the Item
This 1960s jacket is in beautiful vintage condition with no visible flaws. The label reads Tilly Gerland and this is almost certainly a bespoke made piece from a very competent, high-end dress maker. Without a doubt, the star of the show is the design of the embroidered applique art nouveau frog fastenings with a central resin black bead. A close second is the beautiful golden-beige raw silk and linen blend fabric. With shorter, bracelet length sleeves and a scoop neck collar, the jacket is fully lined in a matching coloured rayon / polyester blend. It will fit up to a UK 8-10 or US 4-6 and is better suited to someone under 164cm or 5ft 4in.
