About the Item
Leather and knitwear cardigan / blazer jacket from Monte Carlo based designer Elizabeth Wessel. The leather on this Elizabeth Wessel jacket is buttersoft and so are the suede inserts. It features a duffle coat closure on the front.
BRAND DESCRIPTION
Elizabeth Wessel launched her namesake brand in 1972 in Paris After having worked for Torrente, Jean Patou, Philippe Venet and Givenchy. She won the 1st prize at the Press Gala in Paris for her Autumn/Winter collection in 1974. In 1980 the brand was moved to Monte Carlo. Since 2002 Elizabeth Wessel only does couture and not ready to wear anymore.
MATERIAL COMPOSITION
No material label is present, but it’s real leather and suede. I think the knit part is not 100% wool but rather a blend.
