Vintage Leonard Paris Multicolored Geometric Printed Silk Jersey Blouse TOP
About the Item
The legacy and distinction of Leonard comes from their one-of-a-kind prints on luxurious silks. Instead of lavish couture elements, Leonard designs simplify beauty through the abstract combining artistic elements of line, color, and shape with the textile. Featuring a modern geometric design, hues of cerulean and azure are complimented by warm shades of tangerine, wheat, and crème. These colors are grounded by linear spirals and zig-zags in black and white. Thin bands of scarlet red mark a frieze around the waist and cuffs. Although this blouse has a boxy silhouette, the drape of the silk jersey alludes to a softness. The bateau neckline plays with the squareness of the silhouette and the textile print while a soft cowl and gentle scoop of the back neckline provide a more delicate touch. A well-balanced combination of color and form this versatile blouse is a Picasso in garment form.

This blouse is lined with the exception of the sleeves and closes at centre back neck with a key-hole hook and eye.
