Lovely and summery 1970s white silk organza set from Gina Fratini consisting of a maxi skirt and short-sleeved blouse. The set also comes with a little camisole to wear under the blouse and the skirt is fully lined. The set features pretty pin tucking and frill details and can be worn together or separately. With little covered buttons to fasten at the back of the blouse this is a really pretty ensemble for any occasion. This enchanting 1990s printed silk 2 piece set is comprised of a simple shift dress and bolero to be worn as either as an ensemble or separates. The aesthetic is playful, summery and feminine and presents easily as formal or informal attire. The soft ivory silk is slightly embossed with an irregular texture atop a vibrant rose print design in sugar pink, canary yellow, sapphire blue and emerald green. The dress is sleeveless and broad straps are gathered at the shoulders. The full circle skirt is gathered into tight uniform pleats below the waist and flares generously to the calf. The hem is fluted in yellow satin to match the pretty satin rosette embellishments that feature on the waistband and atop of each shoulder. The bodice is lined in ivory silk. The jacket has three quarter length sleeves which are gathered at the shoulder and the cuff to create an understated fairytale puff. The wide cuffs are embellished with satin rosettes to complement those on the dress, and the seams are fluted in matching yellow ribbon. This piece has a collarless round neck and falls into a central button stand which curves at the hem and hosts 4 x yellow lucite buttons. Tailoring below the bust brings the jacket neatly in at the waist when fastened, and a pretty peplum flares out over the hips. The peplum detail becomes more exaggerated at the reverse, where it is gathered into pleats to mirror the skirt. Made in the most elegant shade of blushing peach silk, this original 1960's Christian Dior skirt suit, is a rare addition to your vintage collection. The rounded neckline of the jacket is framed by a stand-away panelled collar which draws together along the front left hand side with a matching blush peach coloured button fastening. The simple shoulder line sets off the full length sleeves. The tailored cut of the jacket boasts a double breasted design with four mock button fastenings along the right hand side of the bodice and four button fastenings along the left hand side. The elegant cut, is accented by tailored darts that run upwards along either side of the front of the fitted waistline, which boasts a matching fabric belt, embellished with a stylised bow, which conceals the hook and eye fastening. The lightly flared hemline is accented by gathered pleats from beneath the waistline and along the back of the jacket .
