Vintage Mid Century I Magnin Linen Skirt Sleeveless Top & Jacket Outfit
About the Item
This is a 3 piece vintage mid century outfit in a luxe natural linen that includes a short sleeve jacket, a sleeveless top, and an a-line skirt. The jacket has darts on the front and 2 functional pockets with buttons. The top is sleeveless with a round neckline and it closes with buttons down the back center seam. The hem of the top has 2 notch style slits on the front and back. Darts are also found on the top to accentuate the waist and bust area. The skirt has a metal zipper down the side with button closure. The top is the only piece that is lined. This is a very high quality vintage linen outfit from I Magnin that came from an estate of the finest mid century designer clothing and accessories we've ever had the privilege of handling. She owned a lot of pieces designed by the most influential designers of the 20th century. Claire McCardell, Clare Potter, Valentino, Chanel, Nina Ricci, YSL, Norman Norell, Hermes, etc. She had absolutely nothing mediocre. There are no labels other than I Magnin's, but it is clearly a well made outfit in a very high quality linen.
