Vintage Escada Margaretha Ley Striped Mohair Sweater W Ballon Statement Sleeves
About the Item
This fun and colorful vintage sweater was designed by Margaretha Ley for Escada in the 1980's. This is one of our favorites! The superkid mohair is in gorgeous shades of purple, bright blue, brown, burnt orange, and magenta. The stripes are all horizontal and there is a purple suede strip down the center front and back with purple metal button snaps. We especially love the statement balloon style sleeves. There are velcro shoulder pad strips sewn in, but no shoulder pads. This amazing sweater was made in W. Germany of 80% Superkid Mohair and 20% Polyamide.
Labeled size 40, but we estimate this would best fit a modern size S/M depending on how oversized you would like it to fit.
