"Sea Urchin" Handmade Metal Centerpiece by Romoherrera
About the Item
Inspired by the wonderful shapes of marine life, this sea urchin centerpiece is made from Tumbaga, an alloy of copper and zinc, each spike is hand hammered, cut and riveted in the ROMOHERRERA workshops in Taxco, Mexico.
This piece brings joy and wonder to your table catching the light of the candle on the golden metal surface.
Using ancestral techniques passed on by generations Cristina Romo reinterprets the traditional art of silversmithing and brings a creative and modern twist to metalwork.
