About the Item
Disco Days! This 1980's Andrea Pfister shiny gold and silver leather round handbag is reminiscent of a pastille ... sweet and petite! The long multi stranded shoulder strap allows for easy wear and might also be suitable for crossbody use. It zips at the top with silver lined interior and a maker's metal medallion. Presumably made in Italy though not marked. Andrea Pfister (1942-2018) is best known for his amazing shoe designs which ranged from elegant to fun and eccentric ... though his handbags are not far behind!
CONDITION
Good vintage condition with some signs of age and use. There are some creases to the gold leather at the seam edges and a small subtle darkened 'dot' on one side as shown in photograph 12. The white zipper closure has a discoloration as shown in photograph 11.
MEASUREMENTS
The body of the bag measures 6" diameter x 1.25" deep. The shoulder strap measures 42.5" from end to end providing for an 18.5" drop. It is a petite bag is will probably not accommodate tech devices ... you'll have to take a date with a pocket!
