About the Item

Authentic, preowned, vintage and super-rare Bonnie Cashin for Coach Safari DuffleBag Tote, likely made in the 60s. Made from a brown-hued tan leather exterior, it features turn lock patch pockets on each side and double handles. The main compartment fastens with a chunky zipper and is lined in Bonnie's signature striped fabric and in each exterior patch pocket. An incredibly rare bag by Bonnie Cashin, made during her time at Coach! Perfect for the collector - or for anyone who enjoys vintage Coach bags! Note that our 4th image shows this same style bag inside Bonnie Cashin's studio! Made in the USA. Approximate measurements: 14inL x 7inH x 8inD with a 6in handle drop. This bag is pre-creed with a 'Bonnie Cashin' metal tag. Condition: Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of age, use & wear: scratches/spots/patina/lines and color variation to exterior (most notable as shown in our last two images). PLEASE NOTE that the handles have more of an olive hue than the bag body (see all images and zoom in on photo 9) and some rubs to the edge burnishing. The interior shows some spots and wrinkling, see photo 11. All in all, this is a fabulous and incredibly rare vintage Cashin bag that still shows nicely despite it's cosmetic issues!
