Jingdezhen Pale Green China Teapot with Peach Designed Lid, Qing Period

About the Item

Teapot made in Jingdezhen at the period of Qing Dynasty. Jingdezhen is famous production center of fine quality of Chinese ceramics. The official kilns began in 1004 during the Song Dynasty and flourished during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The graceful form, lovely peach knob and string-like decoration are very exquisite. The bottom has a signature dated Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty.
