Yayoi Earthenware Deep Bowl/Antique Japanese vase/300 BCE – 250 CE/Wabi-sabi

About the Item

A large pot from the early Yayoi period. The Yayoi period is one of the oldest historical periods of Japan spanning from c. 300 BCE to c. 250 CE It is a pot-shaped pottery with a round body and wide rim, and is a powerful piece with a beautiful body decorated with three cords. Although there are traces of repair on the rim, it is in good condition as an excavated product and is in perfect shape.
