Antique Korean Ceramic White Bowl Joseon Dynasty

About the Item

A Korean ceramic rice bowl covered in a white glaze with a hint of bluish green color circa 19th century toward the end of Joseon Dynasty. The deep bowl was thickly potted and made for everyday use, featuring a classic form with a short cylindrical foot ring. The glaze was evenly also thickly applied and shows some aged crackles. There is a ring of kiln spurs with burst left to the interior and kiln sand grits and potter's knife mark to the foot ring. A vernacular and honest piece.
