Description
Sharing with you this lovely Kangxi period Tankerd/Jug for water maybe in Famille verte palette. Large piece.
This Chinese porcelain famille verte baluster Jug/Tankard has a nice loop handle and flat original cover.
The body is pear-shaped, moulded and has an ongoing scene of flowers, insects and birds in flight, typical verte scene.
Probably based on French metal and it also was made in faience.
Condition
1 restuck piece to rim with line from it and very minimal frits. 1 restoration to rim lid. 1 small chip to base rim. Size 225mm High
