Ming dynasty Chinese longquan celadon large carved sphere porcelaneous stoneware. This is unquestionably a very important and extremely rare example of Chinese Longquan Celadon globular pottery. The exterior of this Orb is beautifully decorated with thickly molded and deep carved foliage. The sea-green glaze is crazed and covering all the surface, except the base, which remains unglazed. This high level Longquan celadon is among the finest examples of a range of celadon wares in China and is sought after by the special collector. Condition is good considering age and wear.
