19th Century Shop Chest/Cabinet with Sliding Doors and Drawers

About the Item

This is an upper part of a an unusual 19th century Japanese cabinet using bamboo and burled wood as design accents on the two sliding door sections and the drawers. The color of the wood variations of rich honey . This is a well constructed piece. Drawers have bamboo nails and work perfectly, as do the sliding doors. This is in very good condition considering its age and use. All hardware is original and forged iron. This cabinet is completely sturdy and functional. There is also a listing with top and bottom pieces together
