Antique Chinese Three-Legged Occasional Table with Inset Marble Top & Carving
About the Item
This round antique occasional table shows no maker's markings, but is presumed to have originated from China and dates to approximately 1890 and done in a period Chinese Export style. The table is constructed from a hardwood, which has been hand crafted, showing sets of wooden peg construction on the top. The skirt is accented with carved panels of a floral motif and the top is inset with a deep pink marble disk. The legs have a unique serpentine shape with stylized inverted feet. The underside of the table top is very well constructed and the legs are well secured, making for a very sturdy accent of occasional table.
