Japanese 19th Century Keyaki Wood Rectangular Hibachi with Copper Liner

About the Item

A Japanese rectangular keyaki wood hibachi from the 19th century, with copper liner. Used for cooking or warming sake or tea, this elegant Japanese 19th century hibachi features a rectangular frame surrounding the central opening lined with copper. Pierced on the sides to allow the piece to be moved more easily, the hibachi attracts our attention with the beauty of its keyaki wood grain, perfectly complimenting the deep color of the copper liner.
