Late 19th Century Door Panels with Carving and Latticework
About the Item
Late 19th century double-width door panels from Zhejiang province, China. The framework and plain bottom panels are made of fir wood, while the latticework portion is made of Elm wood. The middle carvings are made of Camphor wood, and have very deep and lively carvings of animals, flowers and curios.
The door panels are in their original condition, with some light damage to the edges, but remain structurally sturdy. Sold as a set of four panels.
