Mid Century Asian Carved Rosewood Plant Stand

About the Item

This plant stand has a rare silhouette that evokes Asian design and style. Deep toned rosewood has a wonderful patina on this plant stand from the mid to late 20th century. The shape and design of the stand garners attention. The top shelf is squared with notched corners over a scrolled and pierced rail. The wood is intricately carved and resembles lace at the piercing just beneath the top. The stand is raised on four tall pierced cabriole legs joined by a pierced squared shelf-stretcher on scrolled feet. Measurements: The dimensions are 22 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches wide, and 10 1/2 inches deep. The piece is in good condition except for a slight uneven tinge to the color on the top. It is otherwise in good vintage condition with wear commensurate to age and use. It is unique and distinct from many of the other plant stands on the market.
