Orientalist hand painted and gilt decorated black lacquer papier-mâché plate on stand - possibly by Adt Frères - exceptional detail - unsigned - late 19th century.
Excellent/extraordinary antique condition - no loss - no damage - no restoration - minor rubbing/gilt loss - crack to underside where base meets plate (as photographed - may be an old repair or simply separation with age) - minor scratches from age and use.
Size/Dimensions - 9 1/4" (23.5 cm.) diameter x 1 5/8" (4 cm.) high.
