A Fine Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Wire & Wireless Vase attributed to Ando.

About the Item

A magnificent Japanese Cloisonne Enamel shouldered vase with a long neck worked in silver wire and wireless technique depicting a two bamboo trees and a bird perched along the branch in the foreground on a pale green ground with a shakudo rim and brass foot. The tree in the background is worked in wireless technique , showing the skill of the artist. Similar to many designs by the Ando Jube Company. Size: height-19 cm, wide-7 cm, diameter to the bottom 4 cm. In excellent condition commensurate with age. One tiny dent to the back. Refer to photos.
