Japanese Mixed Metal Shakudo Vase Silver Irises on Bronze, Meiji Period

About the Item

Japanese mixed metal shakudo vase from Meiji Period. The vase depicts silver iris flowers on bronze base. Signed on the side by the maker, and marked on the bottom for Nogawa workshop. The vase shows slight loss of patination around the flowers. It is 5 1/4". tall and 2 1/4" in diameter.
