Pair of Elegant Antique Chinese Carved and Gilt Panels
About the Item
Striking and decorative tall wall panels carved and gilt with overall openwork large scrolled acanthus leaves in relief, each leaf with raised ribs edged in black. The frames painted in a red-brown tone in front, the backs painted black. With hangers on the backs.
Each height 64", wide 27", depth 1 3/4"
Condition: Please see the photos for details of the condition. There are some stable age cracks here and there and slight wear to the finish but all do not detract from the overall look. One back has a visible vertical crack but minor with the presentation being exceptional.
