Tomio Kinoshita (1923-2014), Japan
Woodblock print
Paper, pigment, sumi ink

Paper size: 26.5 high by 21.25 inches wide (67.3 by 54 cm)
Edition: 20/50
This is a rare, fairly early print from Tomio Kinoshita, as his creation of woodblock prints spanned the years between 1955-2007. He used the "title face (yellow)" even though this print is more salmon in color. Kinoshita pulled his prints as they were needed, so there is great variation in color within a particular edition. This image - in yellow - is held in the Sackler Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution and was published in Gaston Petit...
