Bamboo Flower vase by Suigetsu Buseki . Suigetsu Buseki (1930–2013) He is the second generation of "Bamboo Craft Midoriya". He studied under Kokansai Iizuka, a holder of important intangible cultural properties. "Bamboo Crafts Midoriya" is located in the Arakawa area of Tokyo. A 100-year-old Hanakago workshop that has inherited Edo traditions for three generations. A flower basket is a bamboo basket for picking flowers. Starting with the sorting of bamboo, the whole process of splitting, dyeing, and weaving the bamboo is done in the workshop next door. It is designated as a cultural property. Currently, it is highly evaluated at overseas auctions.
