1970 Moroccan Hooded Caftan White and Blue Linen Djellabah Kaftan

About the Item

Moroccan white linen caftan in linen fabric with blue trim embroidered, circa 1970s. This light see through summery djellabah is crafted in Morocco and tailored for a relaxed fit, features a traditional neckline with zipper front, embellished sleeves and vented sides. The hood is removable, you can use it with or without the hood. This long maxi dress kaftan is embroidered and embellished entirely by hand. One of a kind evening Moroccan hooded djellabah. In Morocco, fashion preserves its traditional style inherited from great civilizations that found their way to Northwest Africa, such as the Ottomans and the Moors.
