Antique Japanese Futon Cover featuring Pine with Plum Blossoms and Bamboo Unusual Background-Color of Gray with Plum Blossoms, Pine, and Bamboo Futon Cover Center is the Family Crest (Mon). Cotton Paste Resist, Tsutsugaki Tsutsugaki is a Japanese technique of resist dyeing that involves drawing rice-paste designs on cloth, dyeing the cloth, and then washing off the paste. As a Wall Art, Futon Cover can be framed in wood or hung with a bamboo pole. Five-Panel Futon Cover Dimensions : 61 inches Wide by 75 inches High Mid to Late Meiji Condition – some staining at upper right corner (see photo).
