American Early 19th Century Knife Blade Wrought Iron Andirons with Brass Finials

American hand wrought iron knife blade andirons with cast brass finials on a square brass platform. The scrolled legs end in penny feet, while the blade has a bold bulbous iron plinth which gives these classic American andirons more pizzazz when a fire is burning behind them and the resulting silhouette is so strong. Circa 1830.
