Ancient 18th century boiseries in gray-green lacquered wood with golden leaf friezes and paintings in the upper part depicting landscapes, personalities of the time and mythological scenes, coming from the representation hall of a noble palace in France, precisely in Paris, the fireplace is not included, is one on display, was not born in the composition. The whole boiseries measures 3.24 m in height x linear meters in width about 13 in total. Divided into panels of various sizes, it will be shipped disassembled into the various panels and to be adapted / restored according to your case. Article of great value and important antiquarian value, beautiful conservative patina, impossible to find a similar one, rare and luxury, an object that will give elegance, refinement and great importance to the room where you will put it.

  • Large and Unique Antique French Boiserie with Covered Alcove, 17th Century

    This beautiful section of boiserie has been carved from softwood in the 17th century (upper section pieces only). It has been completely cleaned (stripped) and clear waxed at some point in it's history, and about 15 years ago, the previous owners added the base section (one piece), and backing. The motifs are acanthus leaves in various forms, discs, scrolls and beading. To the sides of the center open section are crowns with ribbons. The one on the left is over an arrangement of irises while the one on the right is over an arrangement of roses. Beneath each is a draped cartouche with roses hanging from the center. Both of these sections are slightly curved inward to the central covered alcove. The opening is curved at the top with the ceiling being flat.
