French Epis de Faitage, Stone Architectural Finial
About the Item
A French stone architectural finial. This epis de faitage (or finial) stands approximately 19.25" in height, and features a primarily pyramidal-shaped body, with linear rings or geometrical projections which steps out in projections around the exterior. The crest is nicely shaped and this piece rests upon a flatted, 10" square base. This piece has a wonderful patina, and lovely remnants of old vines which once grew up it's sides. This French finial would be a nice architectural element, with a great textural surface, which would work well both indoors or out.
