Large Commercial Scale With Massive Cast Iron Columns
About the Item
We found this scale on the Pampas of Argentina. It was once used to weigh cartloads of grain (cart and all) as well as other bulk merchandise. A rod would connect the scale to a platform onto which carts would be pulled by donkey to be weighed.
