Niche. Gilded and polychrome pine wood. Spain, 17th century. Niche made of carved and gilded pine wood, decorated with moldings, a venerated shape and plant elements in the upper part, which has a clear classicist influence, common in some 17th-century Spanish Baroque schools. These types of pieces used to form part of an altarpiece, and were normally used to house sculptures. Size: 47x14x66 cm
