Alaskan Studio Carved Redwood Panels In The Manner Of Ackerman-Panelcarve

About the Item

A pair of masterpiece 2-sided studio carved panels. Hand carved redwood by an Alaskan artist from either the Tlingit or Cup'ik tribe and imported in 1971 by their original and only owner. The dowels are not affixed and pull right out of you wish to hang these in a wall for display. From the Connecticut estate of late author Bruce Becker who was an avid collector of global art and objects. His collection of pieces including these panels and their matching outer door were imported from many parts of the world. NOTE: The matching outer door is also available on our store. SKU: LU1566239334442 Each panel measures 84.5x24x1.75” HWD They each weight about 40lb’s.
