Gilbert de Smet. Born in 1932 to Erembodegem in Belgium Monumental sculpted door, 1969. Carved oak and metal parts These doors were exhibited in 1969 at the Blanckenberge Casino, with fifteen other sculptures and forty drawings. His works show his inner strength and show great spontaneity in execution.
