Donald Deskey Fireplace Tools in Brass & Iron Tripod Stand
About the Item
An original 4 piece set of modernist Art Deco fireside tools designed by Donald Deskey. Sculptural hefty brass handles on the broom, shovel and claw poker. The three tools rest in a standing bracket on tripod base with brass feet. Deskey's design for the brass handles was inspired by the Trylon sphere exhibited at 1939 World's Fair.
