English Fret-Sawn Polished Steel Fire Fender
About the Item
This fender is distinguished from many others by its fretted repeating design of alternating stylised anthemions and radiating flower petal forms; with moulded base and continuous beaded top. The subtle differences between the repeated motifs suggest much hand finishing. The ornaments are pierced and will pick up the light thrown by the flickering flames
