About the Item

An antique Georgian style painted pine fireplace, sourced from a £13 million house in Hampstead, London. Painted with gold leaf beneath the mantel and scrolls decorating the jambs, this late 19th century fire surround is an ode to classic Georgian style popular of its time in circa 1890. It would make a stunning new feature of a period property, particularly of Georgian or Regency style. This fireplace is one of three similar we have available, sourced from the same property.
