Carved Neoclassical Georgian Style Fire Mantel
About the Item
A handsomely carved Neoclassical Georgian fire mantel with classical dog leg opening. Featuring various mouldings throughout, this antique fireplace brings warm elegance to a setting. It is intricately detailed with hand-carved fluting across the frieze and a Neoclassical tablet with urn, swags and foliage alongside egg and dart dentals beneath the mantel, carved beads to the shelf and bead and reel details around the fireplace with leaf moulding. As you can see, it is a fireplace of considered decoration, its natural pine look and waxed finish making it a beautiful feature for any setting.
