English 19th Century Adam Style Carved Mahogany Fireplace Surround and Mantel

About the Item

English Adam style 19th century carved mahogany fireplace surround and mantel. This elegant hand carved fireplace surround has a central urn motif with stylized flowers and anthemions framing it. The carved reeded columns surmounted by urns enhance the architectural nature of the surround. The generous 68 1/2 inch by 8 inch deep mantel allows for limitless decorative possibilities. Circa 1890.
