About the Item
Extraordinary Dutch Louis XIV Smuiger, executed in Gris d'Ardenne marble.
This chimneypiece was made circa 1700 for a small farmers residence in Haarlem.
Simple but beautiful curved and profiles frieze, supported by amazing C-scrolls on matching marble jambs.
Full provenance and history is know. Comes with original wrought iron mounting bars.
Opening measurements: 50 x 36.6 inch (height x width).
Very good and original condition, minor old restorations.
Ready for installation.
