A large polished steel firegrate in the late Georgian style. The pierced, fluted fret with beading above and below, the burning area with shaped front bars, flanked by steel finials. Shaped cast iron back. Late 19th century. Width At Front: 915 mm 36" Width At Back: 540 mm 21 ¼" Height: 780 mm 30 ¾" Depth: 420 mm 16 ½"
