Neo Louis XVI Style Fireplace in Imperator and Statuary Marble
About the Item
This neo Louis XVI style fireplace was sculpted in the 19th century in imperator and statuary marble. Its front part is decorated in its center with a frieze in statuary Carrara marble representing a woman in a chariot on the water pulled by two seahorses, on either side, two cherubs on sea creatures. In the corners of the marble squares representing seahorses. The front is supported by detached columns in gray and statutory breach.This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert but with its marble floor.
