About the Item
A 19th century English statuary and Sienna marble fireplace in the neoclassical style. The finely carved jambs with Athenian foliage and urns surmounted by carved end blockings. The frieze with carved centre blocking featuring female figures and putti. The moulded shelf with carved dentils below.
