Reclaimed Bolection Style Limestone Fire Mantel

About the Item

An English reclaimed limestone fire mantel in bolection style dating from the early 20th century. Though over 120 years old, this bolection fireplace looks stunning in both period and modern settings thanks to its simple lines and neutral colour. The limestone is detailed with fossil inclusions throughout and has a multitoned grey-brown colour with hints of blue. It is made up of 5 pieces which are all in good structural condition with no previous repairs, only slight chips and wear associated with previous use. This timeless stone fireplace is a spectacular surround for an interior, making an impressive focal point in a traditional townhouse as well as more contemporary settings.
