About the Item
Large zinc fountain with life-size representation of Venus (h: 155cm) on stylized rock base with fountain wreath. The fountain was made 1880 by J. L. Mott Iron Works in New York and stood until 1986 at the corner 8th & Hall, St. Joseph, Missouri. In the meantime it was moved within St. Joseph's (3000 Ashland). His last location from 2011 before dismantling was The Woodlands, Texas. The fountain was expertly cleaned and has some traces of old restoration.
