Mathieu Matégot Style Round Patio Side Tables with Perforated Tops & X Supports
About the Item
Attributed Mathieu Matégot, these unique pair of patio or garden or side tables of French Mid-Century Modern period, have round perforated tops with tubular X supports on circular base. These came from a one owner, very swanky MCM home located in St. Louis. The tables have been restored, freshly sand blasted , dipped in rust inhibitor, painted back in satin black. You might see a little red dust, thought I had it all wiped off, it is just dust from the restorers, wipes off. In the style of Jean Prouve or Charles Eames, who also used perforated steel.
