About the Item
Exceptional pair of vintage spring chairs, designed by Francois Carre, made by The Troy Sunshade Company c 1930/1940's. The original Carre version of this chair was made in France, The Troy Sunshade Company later purchased the rights to manufacture and produce the design, these are examples of that second generation of the classic Deauville chair. These chairs were professionally repaired around 30 years age, and were always kept indoors. As a result, the chairs are in very fine condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, perfect for a romantic garden, patio or sunroom.
