About the Item
Victorian Period heavy zinc coated cast iron garden bench made in Brooklyn, NY and patent 1895 by Peter Timmes Son. There are examples of this bench in both the Brooklyn and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Measures: 35" W x 18.75" D x 16.5" to seat, 38" H to top of center backrest.
Condition: There is a small loss to one scroll in the bottom right most part of the back on the right side facing. There is significant paint loss and chipping and also some rusting however the bench presents well.
