1940’s Original Belgian washing dolly tubs – planters
1940’s Original Belgian washing dolly tubs – planters. English ribbed dolly tubs have always been popular as planters but we have always preferred the simpler design of the Belgian version. Original used in the 30’s and 40’s as washing tubs, the tubs came with a long handled wooden ‘pole’ that was used to swirl and circulate the washing inside the tub. They make amazing planters. We have a number of tubs so please let us know if there is a design you prefer and we will do our best to accommodate. Listing is for one tub.
WORKSHOP REPORT
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
